ENHANCED TRAINING
Overview
Enhanced Training offers a collection of innovative online enhanced training experiences for law enforcement professionals nationwide that focus on implementing organizational and operational improvements in short amounts of time (between three and six months). Enhanced training course topics are designed to maximize outcomes, result in the implementation of new concepts, meaningful participation, and sustainability. The key features of this on-line enhanced training experience include training in cohorts, flexible scheduling, blended learning, and access to expertise. Participants can expect live online “classroom” sessions, with additional instructor office hours and access to consultation with experts and trainers in-between sessions. Participants will also be required to complete homework assignments and complete a “hands-on” capstone project that results in an improvement to their agencies. Planned courses include:

Purpose
A training experience for law enforcement personnel that features multiple modes of interactive training online, including webinars, live instructor-led discussions, expert-facilitated scenarios and exercises, real-world examples, group project work, individual project work, coaching, mentoring, and access to a cadre of experts to assist agencies focusing on implementing organizational and operational improvements.

Communicating Agency Successes
This course focuses on strengthening law enforcement agencies’ ability to communicate effectively with the public, media, and their internal audiences. It is created for agencies seeking to highlight positive outcomes, improve internal morale, and proactively manage narratives about public safety and policing. This course will assist law enforcement agencies to effectively share their successes with the public, thereby uplifting the profession of policing.
